Lighting Designer

Job Description:

1. Organize and lead the overall concept of lighting design projects;

2. Complete project analysis, lighting renderings, scheme expression, and compile complete design schemes;

3. Communicate and present to clients including owners and architects;

4. Complete lighting fixture selection;

5. Coordinate with lighting engineers on layout drawings and installation node drawings;

6. Coordinate with lighting engineers to complete technical briefings with construction sites;

7. Follow up and supervise lighting project implementation to ensure design scheme effects are achieved.

Requirements:

1. Understand basic knowledge of architecture, interior, and landscape; comprehensively master lighting design knowledge; have good artistic or design foundation with basic aesthetic sensibility.

2. Ability to independently complete lighting design schemes and follow up and review subsequent engineering drawings and project implementation.

3. Creative with ability to express and present using design language.

4. Proactive with strong comprehension and communication skills.

5. Bachelor's degree or above in lighting, design, art or related fields.

6. Familiar with mainstream domestic and international lighting products.

7. Ability to use hand drawing and digital drawing to express scene effects and installation structures.

8. Proficient in: Photoshop, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Dialux/Relux for scheme design and expression.

9. Familiar with and proficient in at least two of the following software types: 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max); graphic design software (AI, ID, PS); rendering and post-processing software (V-ray, Lumion, AE).

10. Candidates with English reading, writing and communication skills preferred.
